Bought a LC9 the first of november and a week later had to return the gun for warranty. On pickup I was required to do a nics check at which time I was wrongfully denied when I had purchased the gun only days earlier. Was told by the staff " Its state law to do a nics check on every gun that leaves this store"- liar! When getting my fingerprint card form my local sherriffs department, my towns sherriff actually called the store and asked about a nics check for a warranty pickup at which time the story changed and the policy turned to in-store. Takes 95 buisiness days to get an appeal so looks like ill be without personal protection untill it comes back. Shame on nics for such a slow turn-around and shame on mge for lying to customers. Also note not one single person in the store has been thru the appeal process or has any info on such, so dont expect any more help than being handed a photo-copied pamphlet of nics appeal guidlines
